Mastering Mindful Munching: Avoiding the Yuletide Bulge

This one-day workshop will focus on helping you learn how to enjoy the holiday festivities with friends and family while still taking care of your health and not worrying about your jeans being too snug afterwards. This workshop will focus on helping you make a plan for yourself that is realistic to follow, honors the rituals and traditions of the holidays, and increases your confidence in making healthy decisions for yourself.
At the end of this workshops the hope is that you will be able to:
- Enjoy the holidays without concerns of gaining weight
- Make a plan for holiday-healthy recipes and activities
- Learn to increase your focus on connecting with friends and family
- Identify ways to say “no” to unhealthy foods and drinks offered by friends and family without worry of offending them
Day/Time: Saturday, November 17, 2018

Where: Market Street Center for Psychotherapy (Near 8th and Market St., San Francisco)
BART/Muni: Civic Center Station
Cost: $60 (cash, check, or Venmo accepted)

This group is facilitated by Kassi Kite Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #97223 (supervised by Dino Di Donato LMFT #39831). Kassi specializes in working with individuals facing challenges related to depression, trauma, anxiety, and body image and disordered eating, such as binge-eating, compulsive eating, yo-yo/chronic dieting, and issues relating to challenges with obesity.
