Women & ADHD – Support and Skills Group (October 2016)

August 29th, 2016

6-week group October 4th – November 8th
Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00pm

Often diagnosed as adults, women with ADHD can feel frustrated and isolated in their experience. Years of coping and looking for workarounds may result in a negative sense of self and a limiting narrative. There’s a desire to “get it together”, but things like time-management, completing tasks, and showing up in relationships, continue to feel elusive.

This group will offer women a safe space to engage in a combination of supportive group process, psycho-education, mindfulness and skills-building. Many clients may be addressing the impact of ADHD in their individual therapy, and this group provides the unique opportunity to build on that by connecting with other women, reducing isolation, and practicing skills with support and accountability.

Anyone who identifies as a woman, is 25 years or older, and has been diagnosed with ADHD is welcome to contact us for a free consult to see if this group is a fit.
