We offer specialized services for: chronic or terminal illness, attention-related disorders, LGBTQQI clients, victims of crime, and the formerly incarcerated. Our therapists bring unique interests, experience, and advanced training to provide support in these areas.
LGBTQQI Issues
Several of our therapists are openly gay, and we have decades of combined experience in advocacy and direct services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex communities. Some of our therapists also have advanced clinical training in working with the unique needs of our communities, and we welcome same-sex partners, nontraditional families, and clients who identify outside of the gender binary.
Restorative Justice
Restorative Justice is a philosophy that focuses on the needs of victims, offenders, and their communities rather than abstract legal principles and punishment. We offer therapy for victims of crime, formerly incarcerated persons, and groups grounded in the principles and philosophy of Restorative Justice. This work can be done individually by anyone who has been harmed or who has harmed another. In some cases, we can also facilitate dialogue between victims and offenders.
